Each runner gets one meta tag from a public list. Tags lock at 6:00 PM ET.
A meta's market cap is the sum of its runners. One runner counts for at most 40% of its meta.
At 8:00 PM ET the median of five one-minute readings from 7:58 to 8:02 decides the order.
Winning shares pay $1 each. The main pool splits the pot, minus a 2% fee, after a 30 minute challenge window.
What is a meta?
A meta is a narrative that a group of memecoins trades on together, like AI agents, animals or politics. When a narrative is hot, its coins tend to run at the same time. MetaMarkets lets you bet on which narrative leads instead of picking a single coin.
How do prices work?
Yes and No shares trade between 0 and 100 cents. The price is the chance the crowd gives that outcome. If you are right, every share pays one dollar. The main pool works differently: back a meta, and if it finishes first, its pool splits the whole pot in proportion to stake.
Who decides which meta a coin belongs to?
Each runner gets one tag from a public list, published with the leaderboard. Tags lock at 6:00 PM ET, and anyone can challenge a tag in the 30 minute window after settlement.
Can someone pump a coin at 7:59 to win?
The result uses the median of five readings from 7:58 to 8:02, and no single runner can count for more than 40% of its meta, so a last minute pump has to be broad and has to hold.
Is this live?
Not yet. This is a preview. Prices, volumes, runners and results are sample data, and the trade panel is a demo that never touches a wallet.
